We got the results of the MRI today and there is no tear of the meniscus. She has something called Hoffa's syndrome. Physical therapy 2-3 times a week for 4 weeks and she should be fine.

My DD is scheduled to have surgery next week but with the second opinion doctor who treats MLB. The first doctor scheduled her for surgery before sharing the MRI results with us! He also couldn't tell which procedure he'd do, cleaning out or repair, so we decided to go with the pros' doctor. Doctor #2 believes she'll be out no more than three weeks. Dr. Cashalot told us she'd be out the entire travel season. Um, we're going back to PGF so yeah, we're going with Dr. MLB, especially since it looks like she tore it more than a month ago, all the while pitching the hell out of a lot of games.
