I have never said that 700 was acceptable. In fact, I've said the exact opposite _explicitly_ multiple times.
This is an obviously emotional-charged topic for many whether it's one side wanting to trust their gut and their experience that it's fine OR the other side wanting to trust their gut, because their kid was hurt and need a reason why, or their kid didn't get to pitch because the starters took too many innings.
So, I guess we will keep having it the exact same way it has always been because everyone would rather trust their own guts instead of actually having irrefutable, non-emotional data and research on what is safe and what isn't.
Don't bring nuance and logic to the conversation. You must hate little children.
Those trophy cases don't build themselves.
