Hey all, I have a 13 year old pitcher, played all year from Feb-December, probably pitched around 150 innings on the season. She gained velo throughout the year and was topping out right at 60mph towards the end of the fall season. During break we were still throwing and velo started to dip, now only topping out around 56mph.
I tried pushing and working harder, more drills, longtoss, strength training, none of which has helped. PC doesn’t seem concerned and suggested taking 4 weeks off. Anyone had similar experiences? I could use some advice, it’s driving me nuts! Haha Thanks!
