Opening day in NJ

Blue skies, 52 at game time and DDs team puts the smack down on the new kid in the conference. Pretty lopsided win, 15-3. DD walked, bunted for a hit and drilled a 3 run RBI triple. DD got ink and I'm happy with her performance behind the dish. We'll see what tomorrow brings when we play a big public school but for now it's all good.

DD was 3-for-3 at the plate with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored today in our opening game, which we won 10-5. I'm sure she'll get a little ink tonight. Gotta love opening day in NJ.

Only 9 more days to go here in CT, our first official game is 11 April....ugh

I think I saw where UConn is playing their first home game today. I really need to move to my retirement location ahead of time.

DD had a great opening day too. Weak opponent, but for a frosh playing her 1st V game, managed to take advantage and get herself a little ink also.
