Fresh off our 2017 Western Nationals run, coaches Ted Holloway and Cesar Contreras are continuing to team up for a new OHANA TIGERS 14U team in the South Bay for 2017/18 season. This is a new team with all positions open that will be run out of Sam Levy Adult School (home of Torrance Girls Softball).
Our goal for this team is to find motivated players that will work hard with a goal to continually improve and compete. We have plans to compete in a number of events in and around Southern California. Our primary goal for this team is player development geared towards preparing the girls to excel immediately and into the next level, both on and off the field.
Initial tryouts will take place on Saturday August 19th and Sunday August 20th, 2017, at Sam Levy Adult School (home of Torrance Girls Softball) located at 3420 W. 229th Place, Torrance, CA 90505. Tryouts both days will take place from 9am to 1pm (check in begins at 8:30am). Additional tryouts may be scheduled, and private workouts may be requested should you be unable to attend.
Tryout schedule as follows:
9am-10am (pitchers/catchers only)
10am-1pm (all position players)
