probably going to go down a rabbit hole on this one, but there are plenty of reasons. 1) if the catcher is left on base at end of inning it will delay starting the next half inning, 2) the catcher is involved in every pitch, why not give other kids an opportunity to participate in the action, 3) the catcher plays every pitch, lets preserve her and not wear her out on the bases when we need her rested for the next inning behind the plate, 4) maybe she is just down right slow and we need to put the team in a better position to win the game so the team continues in the tournament and we all benefit. Hope this helps.

5) If I have to watch my pitcher try to run the bases one more time I'm going to jump off a very high structure. Go sit down before you hurt yourself or I hurt myself because I had to witness whatever that was you just tried to do out there.
