Don’t beat yourself up over choosing the wrong team. DD had a similar situation in her last year with a big org. They had enough girls show up for two teams but only enough talent for one good team. They didn’t want to field an A team and a B team, so in a misguided attempt to create parity they put the best pitchers and catchers on one team and the best position players on the other. It was a disaster.

I would suggest waiting until the end of the fall to move. I think most coaches would appreciate your desire to meet your commitment to your current team. In the meantime, pay attention at tournaments to identify what teams you’d be interested in. Take some guest playing opportunities as they arise. Good luck!

Been in your situation, except for the being a junior part, and it sucks. But I'd probably finish the season...assuming it ends in December.

On the bright side, ERA should be low if the game is scored right.

I would look to guest play on an off weekend with a better team. Once the season is officially over, make the jump elsewhere. Pitching is always needed somewhere.
