Mevo Video Cam

Our MevoPlus (now discontinued) and a Boost attachment need a little help. Boost is no longer manufactured, at least by the original source. The device does not seem able to charge itself or interface properly with the camera. Issues this brings up include no ability to use an external USB microphone in connection with the Mevo. Anyone know of repair shop possibilities? West Coast for obvious reasons.

I hate to say this, but I doubt you will find someone who can work on your camera and/or boost. We've had several customers with the same request over the years and have never been successful in getting any work done on them.

Does the Camera still operate on it's own without the boost? And what external mic are you using now?

Thanks for the reply, Josh. The Mevo itself is working well, it boils down to the Boost that is only a couple of years old that is the trouble source. The mic is a Shure USB, MV5 Condenser. Really acceptable quality for streaming presentations, etc. There are ways other than the Boost to input audio to the Mevo but cost and personnel become factors.
