62-63 with good offspeed and location? If a kid really does have a long swing they are going to have to cheat a bit to get to that which will leave them vulnerable to offspeed.As pitching gets better and faster, I thought it would expose swing flaws too,(long swings would struggle) but it didn't. We faced 62-63 mph hour and the ones I thought might struggle, killed it. I am coming to the conclusion that successfully hitting is much more about timing and mindset. Sure mechanics matter but give me a focused confident hitter with good timing over perfect mechanics everyday.
