Maintaining prober elbow separation?

Arm separation, elbow separation mainnating a box. Whatever you want to call it. I am fairly sure you know what I am talking about, so why ask that question.

I see in the video he does not not maintain his starting elbow distance throughout his swing, however he is still maintaining some semblance of a box. Which seems to me can only be done if the elbow does not out run the hands. So what are things you can do to help kids not let the elbow get in front of the hands. Other than just telling them, because that don't work.

1. Make sure the rear forearm is flat at toe touch. (Of course make sure the bat head is up approx 50 deg, and not flat)

2. Then make sure the hands stay near the armpit until hip slot. (Make sure the bat head moves with the back elbow, no slop)

Your hitters will be better than any team you face for the rest of their life.
