My daughter's pitching coach was a pitcher at St. Francis in Joliet, IL. (NAIA).

She did have to go back for one extra semester due to softball conflicting with a couple of her clinical classes. Overall I would say it worked out very well for this person.

Competitive team in tough conference. Also I’m told these are the kind of coaches you want your kid playing for.

I don't know if the softball program is nursing friendly for the students,, but Long Beach State has a good nursing program and feeds employees right in to my wife's hospital in Long Beach.

This is a phenomenal list and something that I don’t see talked about often enough! I think there are plenty of kids (and parents) who don’t realize that college sports can be incompatible with their studies sometimes. It was a shocker for us when my daughter wanted to declare as a nursing major.
