This 12" glove is on sale at cheap bats. I'm thinking of getting an infield glove for my DD who is 12 (13 in a little over a month) and has smallish hands, though she's able to command her Vinci 1961 well, but it's less than ideal for infield use. I guess my biggest concern is whether the finger stalls would be too big.

I also saw the thread on Mizuno Pro Select baseball gloves. Any insights on either would be appreciated.

That’s a fantastic deal on a great glove! I had a 12” Horween Small Batch #26, I’d just about have to imagine it’s the same identical pattern.

Be warned, mine was full Horween inside and out, one of the Small Batches Eric Walbridge put out before he moved to Marucci. I’ve said here plenty of times I love stiff gloves, that Easton was stupid stiff, as in beyond ridiculous!

Uh oh. It does say that the shell backing is steerhide and not horween, so that might make it less of a brick, not sure. And it does look really close to your old one (nice glove!) except for the cross pattern vs. the H pattern. It looks like the pocket is deep enough for a 12" softball.

It’s plenty big enough for a 12” ball, especially with the one you’re looking at with an H-web, which will get deeper than that modified single post.

Shoot...I missed the boat. Sold out. There's still a two piece web... not sure how that translates to infield beyond pitcher.

Sold out on the h web. Great price on the Easton if you are on a budget. Easton pro line doesn't get the love like the rawlings hoh or wilson a2000.

I know that the stalls on the Mizuno Pro Selects are too large for small hands as the glove would slip out of my just-turned 13 year old's hand (that's even with the 11.5" fastpitch model).

I'm tempted to try an Easton Small Batch, but not sure of the hand stall size either. My 13 yo DD currently has an Easton Pro Fastpitch 11.5" that is perfect for her hand, but it only lasted a year even though the material is "premium steerhide".

I just ordered an 11.5" Tigress glove for my 11 yo DD so I'll share how the size and feel of it is once it comes in.
