I'm big on taking people's advice on topics like this.

I like reading what older people say they would have done differently. And then applying it.

Thanks to wise advice like this above, I've adopted it and can share that life is more enjoyable and healthy. As an 8U dad, I was on edge and ready to jump on anything I saw that looked wrong. I am now super mellow and zen and just enjoy watching and helping. Luckily still in 12U so have more years to enjoy.

After coaching my oldest son in baseball for 8 years and having very few pictures I was lucky enough to have a DD 6 years younger. When she started playing softball I bought a camera. It goes with me to every tournament. I have worked on my photography skills over these last 8 years taking pictures of my daughter and her teammates. It's my contribution to her team and a way of giving back. Pics or it didn't happen.
