New HS HC this year and he is a teacher which is prevalent in our neck of the woods. He's also smart enough to know what he doesn't know. There's definitely a learning curve to this game and I can honestly say that he's way above the bell on this. The other good thing is you can tell he really cares about the players and their team cohesiveness. He is not afraid to bounce ideas off of his more experienced ACs and take their advice. He's also not above listening to the more experienced TB coaches in the area when he solicits their advice. I can't say it's an ideal situation but at least he's willing to listen, learn and study the resources provided by others which is good enough for me.
