Half Bat?

I have my own version of this that I use to teach ball/bathead trajectory. But I use an Axe bat/handle which requires a consistent grip - bat head alignment. I also shortened the bat because I use wiffle balls and I want the sweet spot to be similar to what a normal size bat would have.

Hmmm the principal in Junior High had something like that on the wall...

My daughter does a ton of flat bat work with her instructor. Tee work, soft toss and front toss with tennis balls...She'll work to contact, then extensions, finally over to full swings. You need quality swing planes and attention to detail, for clean solid contact to all areas of the plate, just miss and it shows. Great all around tool in my opinion.
