My first comment is I would find it hard to call a strike when the catcher is moving his glove that much.

I'm curious about how accurate the square box is for showing the strike in 3 dimensions and where it considers the ball having crossed the plate. The first pitch may have been close enough to think about calling a strike if the catcher hadn't moved his glove.

I don't know, but this play made Ozuna my all time favorite Baseball player, so I'm siding with him.

Like to see what the umpire's on dfp think of that?

As a catcher I am not surprised those pitches are strikes.
(even though I do not care for that technique of pic and jerk)
Prefer subtle wrist frame of glove only apon receiving.
One way or the other simply could have been the pitch location regardless of the catcher umpire liked what he saw as a strike. But it did appear the catcher new he needed to move his arm/glove after catching pitch to make it a strike and that was a little dorky.
that's why I don't like that.

pitcher's dad here so I love the big zone but those were 3 badly missed calls and it's unacceptable at that level and is the reason why electronic strike zones are on the way soon. That's some incompetent umpiring.

... bad calls...or...
because I take responsibility as a hitter~ this perspective

After the first called strike
Would have already told me where the umpire's mindset is.

The second called strike would prove that.

For sure I would have been attacking that third one.

No excuse for looking at strike three.
Pay attention and learn or go sit down.
