Love those videos! I agree about learning to use the different arm slots. That's a great tool once they get down the correct way to throw. Something for these girls to aspire to! Huge difference between outfield throws and infield throws. I'm definitely sharing these videos with the team!

Only real difference between OF and IF throwing action is the length of it.

I mean I guess but that is more of a crow hop/pro step thing than the actual throwing mechanics.

My kid doesn’t get off her backside well. Throws uphill too much. Same issue she has with her hitting which isn’t surprising. I think she was born without a posterior chain...

Many throwing drills you see online are outdated. The gold standard for modern throwing is High Level Throwing by Austin Wasserman.

Search for him on this forum and you will find recommendations for him everywhere. The arm in an L with the ball facing away is outdated. So are wrist flicks. His throwing is based on him starting his career in physical therapy. He understands arm mechanics at the physiological level.
