Yellow line is path of the pitched ball when in it comes into frame.

So "3", did she "swing down" to the ball IYO, or something else?

To everyone: who thinks the barrel never went below the plane of the pitch?

Take a look at when the barrel bottoms out too. Happens pretty deep.

I see posture adjustments to get on plane. Agree with Clem on Sierra fighting like hell to stay on top. It all comes down to timing and plane. My dd has to fight like hell to stay on top of every pitch regardless of location 😎

"down to" is relative to pitch location... but you already know that. The cue "down to" is used because the strike zone is down and the ideal is to swing at pitches in the strike zone.

Also, not directed at you @Mudders Brudder, this is a perfect example of a pitch that isn't dropping. This pitch does not exist in baseball. Just sayin
