Elbow guard discussion

Looking for something with a little more protection than the evoshield elbow guard. Anyone use this Marucci elbow guard? Any other suggestions?

Anyone know what kind of elbow guard Barry Bonds used? That elbow guard offered a ton of protection.

Thanks for the info. I was not aware that Bonds's elbow guard was custom made. I guess I won't be going with that option.

Never looked into that befor either, from the looks of some of these elbow guards...
Maybe a re-purposed catchers shin guard

Check out the G-Form elbow guards. DD (11U) and DS (Juco Freshman) both use them.

Would like to see Armour built on that show

Both of my kids have used G-Forms and really like them. Significantly better protection than a standard size Evoshield. DD now plays at a Wilson school so she has to use an Evoshield. Got her the monster Evoshield with the extra pad below the elbow.

I have a question. After hitting a double, why does the player have to call time and give the elbow guard to their 3rd base coach? I mean she ran to 2nd with the guard on. Does the guard slow the runner down?
