To me hitting a break depends on your adjust. Sometimes adjustments are bigger. If the pitcher is throwing curves for strikes RHB, then you set your sites on right center gap. You sit on the break or outside corner. Was watching a pitcher doing that, painting the curve. Threw an inside FB off the plate, then back to the curve. She was handling everyone except for one hitter that hit a line drive to RC, 2B. Same thing, handled everyone until the same hitter, curve deposited into the RC gap, 2B.

So the moral of the story, it’s approach, adjustments both mental and physically.

This is the swing right here, everything adjusts off of this swing. Why is the swing RC? because hitting the outside to RC is like making the slightest timing adjustment. If it’s inside as well, adjusting. Take the girl hitting it over the fielders for a double I posted. Look how deep the arc is and the direction, stay back in the rear column. Then get close to the plate making everything inside and get your hands in front of your sternum letting the inside pitch come right into your power.

Timing…adjustments…experience

Before any swing adjustment comes pitch recognition and outside of working with a machine that can throw different spins there's not much you can do. If you get lucky you might find a pitcher who can spin the ball and can throw BP.
