Ever player on the team MUST be proficient at bunting. It is critical. You don't want to go into an IBT and have Jenny up that not very good at bunting.
That being said, what ever happened to the RH push bunt where the bunter pushes it past the pitcher to a 2nd baseman playing too deep.
Also some coaches teaching girls to bunt towards RH pitcher backhand and make her field the ball. It works with big and slower moving pitchers quite well.

I hit LH and could bunt with the best of them. I actually tried to turn loose of bat with my front hand and let the bat fly out of my hand towards the catcher. I can't teach bunting at all. It came so easy for me. My assistant baseball coach 30 years ago was a technician and could teach it better than anyone I have ever seen. One day he said, he couldn't bunt at all and had tried everything over the years. He was a better college player than me. LOL.

Now trying to teach it to a RH is like rocket science to me.
