How do you teach a RH to drag? No sac but true drag. I hit LH and have know clue.
Square around later, drop the right foot back into a sprinters stance, and point the cap of the bat to first base so you angle the bunt to 3rd. Not much to it. Similar to a sac but you disguise it longer.

Agree with all of the above. Will add that if you are bunting for a base hit, it’s either a base hit or foul ball. Also, grip the bat lightly. This will help deaden the ball.

I’ve found it somewhat difficult to have RH batters drag bunt. Many times they will step over the batter’s box line, step on the plate, or run into the ball as a true drag bunt is bunting while the hitter is also in motion. Much easier to do from the left side of the plate. Honestly it would probably be easier to teach a RH hitter to do it from the left side of the plate, IMHO.

The player is an average to above average runner and gets sac bunts down really well but not fast enough to make a LH. Hits with power from the right side.

Right handed batter
Drag/Also known as Sneak bunt.

From batting stance.
As pitch arrives the plate.
Body goes into 'slightly lower' batting stance athletic crouch while this happens simultaneously
Right arm/hand which is
* top hand controlling barrel.
Drops bat across zone.
Behind themselves!
(to the batters right hip side!
cuz their left side is still toward the pitcher. got it?)
Or could say
Behind the plate!
(not infront like a regular bunt)

Basically a quick maneuver dropping bat behind body while actively going into a sprint from the box.

No fancy foot work needed.
Yes right arm needs to be strong controlling bat.
*i prefer to let go of my left hand doing drag/sneak bunt.
Not everyone likes to.
imo can get more angles with the bat with just right arm utilizing wrist.

*Advantage of righty drag/sneak and dropping bat straight down right hip side is
*Batters body can block the view of what the bat is doing from the 3rd baseman!

Myself being a power hitter
Utilized small ball like this effectively.
The arsenal of hitting weapons
adds a mental torture to the defense of what hitter may do.
Stay back? Go forward? Creep? Uhhh no, yes? ;)

My running speed can just break 3.0 to first.
Very explosive quickness
More like a wildebeest than a gazelle.

*Also can get real good at this and batter can actually be getting out of the box while the ball goes into play behind the batter leaving the box!

Luv this on change ups! 👍🎉

I rarely see RH batters bunt for a base hit (in softball or baseball anymore)..I don't even know if many coaches know how to teach it like @Towny9 explained.

Cant say have followed the nations statistics on the history of it.
Simply know my lifes experiences.
Playing, coaching, watching.

Small ball adds strategy.
It adds another mental element.

What can be said of strategy~
In the game of Chess
Both opponents get the SAME arsenals.
The better strategy generally wins.

That said
Perhaps the mentalities have fluxuated toward
' hit it hard '
Because of the changes to equiptment and rules.
However that imo does not
de-valuate the importance of weapons in strategy.

For some of those that suck at change ups, small ball can be a helpful tool.
Deffinetly helpful against better pitching.

Having that tool in your toolbox cannot hurt. Marcela can run and bats cleanup so the corners are always back. There are times when she is struggling that a drag bunt might be just what the doctor ordered. Once she figures out how to hit..I will work that in to her arsenal ;)
