This is why you don't watch the ball! She had this great hit - but was watching and missed 1st base!! She went back and by then they had the ball in
Her coach actually told her they probably wouldn't have even seen it but she just said "Integrity!"

I don't think she expected DD to go back to first - it was a double all day if she didn't miss the bag

But the first baseman isn't supposed to just roam around the infield like that. They aren't the cutoff for left center.
