12U A team playing in Ohio today. They had three games. She has been hitting 9th. Her coach says it is because he wants to use her as a "2nd lead-off hitter."
She batted actual leadoff 2 of the three games today. Her BA was .400, OBP .500, OPS 1.300 and slugging percentage .800 for the three games.
I'm proud of and happy for her. She's pleased but disappointed she struck out once.
I try to tell her, round stick, round ball=hard and her day was a success. She knows but wants to be "better". Good for her.
