Talk about a Salty Conference. Lone Star Conference with 6 of the top 25 D2 teams in the country. And 3 of them have A&M in their names.

DD's school petitioned to move up to D2, but was denied last year. Their enrollment is 29,000 students! However UT Tyler moved up last year. They have remained in the top 10 in the country...not too shabby for "lowly" D3 school right?

DD's softball team needs some help, but all of the other athletic programs continue to dominate their conferences over the years.
