Bats that sting

The Xeno actually has an extra layer of grip on top of the original that is used to wrap tennis rackets, so you'd think that would limit the sting. Otherwise, it's same handle/grip that came with the bat.

I'll also note that it stings only from machine pitch. Not 'real' pitching. Not sure why that is.

If there isn't that much difference, I doubt that has anything to do with it. Just thinking aloud.

I never saw this until now. So it doesn't sting when hitting real pitches? What type balls are being used in the machine?

Baden leather, designed for machine, recommended for Jr. Hack Attack. Literally caused bruising on hands, so we switched to the rubbery balls. Then DD just happen to try hitting the Baden hard balls w/ Mako, and gets no sting except maybe a little on a mishit.

I have no idea what these balls are...but could be that the balls are way to hard for the bat.

Eastons are tanks and can handle more abuse.
