DD has been going to a new hitting coach (1st hitting coach) for about a month and has greatly improved. He has moved her front forearm out away from her body and raised her back elbow. This at times gets her knob away from the catcher feet and she has a little bat wrap (she does not feel it). Going to see him again tonight but wondering if you guys have any suggestions to help her feel it.

photo please. What is describe as bat wrap is ok. Is the knob point at the catcher?
Knob is pointed probably at the catchers right shoulder and the end of the bat is six inches in front of her head and probably pointed at the SS. Not all the time but fighting it

I can tell she hits around the ball when she wraps a little. Not rainbows. Line drives.😬

make sure her hands are staying connected to her rear arm pit /shoulder (see Mike above). My guess is they are leaving the connection early resulting in wrap.

If the angle between the bat and the bottom hand forearm doesn't get too much less than 90 degrees it's generally OK. If that angle gets sharper then she could be letting her bottom hand fingers loosen up.
