I'm interested to see how the Carbon 1 -13 performs for younger girls. I see they are making them in smaller sizes. Tempted to get one for the DD.... :)

Only concern with a composite drop of -13 would be risk of breaking since they are thin. Another alloy option is a Louisville Xeno Tee Ball softball bat, drop -12.5. Longest length is 26" and it has all official softball stamps. Perfect for RIF balls, not good for real balls as it bounces away on contact.

Thank you our daughter are real close in size!
They are! My daughter had to choke up a little on the 28" LS Quest. A 27" would have been a perfect length to start with, but at the end of the season (3 months later), she was using the full 28" length. I would see if she can handle the 28" to start with.

Have your kid wear their baseball shoes. Then, take your kid’s height. Your kid would presumably reach 3 ft. Use this as a baseline. With a 3 ft. measurement, use a 26-inch bat to match.
Every time your kid’s height reaches 4 inches beyond 3ft. 4 inches, add 1 inch for the bat. So for instance, if your kid’s height reaches 3 ft. and 8 inches, you are to add one more inch to the bat.
