I’m trying to understand what you mean by “leg before the hip”. Are you referring to back leg or back knee drive?

wouldn’t driving the knee cause a hitter to push the hips more than allowing them to rotate? I’m alway trying to get my hitters to use the hips to rotate and the back foot become reactive in the swing at rotation, not active. In other words, I want the hip to rotate without being pushed or restricted. The goes where the hip takes it.

think the tee being too deep has something to do w the ‘hip driven’ look. She can’t maintain posture and rotates the hips to get the barrel to the ball.

W =W. Your right the tee is too deep for that swing. This was our 1st lesson together over 2 years ago. She could only hit in a very small window and would get exposed middle away.
