I’ve been meaning to make one about breaking in my daughters new All-Star catchers mitt. Just worried I’ll run out of space on my phone, as it’s already full of several years worth of slo-motion hitting and pitching videos.

Google “Wilson Aso” - he has several good ones. Don’t think you need to do the water treatment. But it’s not as bad as it looks. For some reason the idea of steaming a glove still horrifies me, but I’m ok with pouring water into the pocket!

FYI - I bought the same model (LHT, different webbing) glove for my oldest, and used the hot water method (Hot, not boiling!). Left it in the front dash of my car to dry the next day (I’m not in SoCal or Texas, so it wasn’t like I was putting it in a oven.). She was using it within a week. I love the Mizuno leather. Feels nicer than the A2000 my youngest has.

Leather can handle the water just fine. Cows live out in the rain, ya know.

They don't, however, take steam baths.

Thank you again everyone! She got her new glove this weekend and loves it. Still quite a ways away from being game ready but coming along nicely. It’s amazing how much a good love hi-lights just how bad her other one is
