A drop9 Demarini isnt that endloaded...a Demar drop9 is hardly noticeable because the
drop10s are sometimes even underweight. So its really up to what she can swing well.
If she can do a drop9 and not have any slowing of speed, go ahead.
Now remember, if she does go away from demarini, other bats will not weigh like they do.

One would think…lol although my very strong junior will absolutely not swing her drop 9 fnx I didn’t think she’d notice at all but she swears it’s completely different.

I'd agree with the sentiment that at 11 she should be swinging a -10. MY 16yo DD swings a 34-9. Wait until she is swinging the -10 really really well before moving to the heavier one. I liked the progression of 30-11, 31-10, 32-10, 33-10, 34-10, 34-9 (maybe throw the 33-9 as the biggest bat if your DD is smaller)

My daughter loves her FNX bats. She's a big, strong girl who can handle the stiff connection. She has three of them; 32-22, 33-23, and 33-24. I did balance the two 33" bats to see if there is much difference in the loading, and the balance point is closer to the barrel end than the knob on the -9 bat. So, while I wouldn't say it's a true end-loaded bat, it's definitely not balanced, either.

I thought this picture is relevant to the discussion. I measured the center of mass for all of the above 34" bats and lined them up for a picture. I then created the green line across all of the bats intersecting the CoM. A simple cut and paste to get all of the bats lined up to show the difference in where the CoM is for each bat. The FNX's and Meta X are -10, the CF is a -9.

Yes she loves it too. It’s the 33-24 she won’t swing. She was trying to transition to a cf when they stopped making it and just didn’t like it. I found someone selling a new 33-23 so I’m now on good mom status for a hot minute. Fortunately the bat is also a tank so hopefully will last through the rest of high school

Let me know if you want the 33-23. She went right from the 32-22 to the 33-24, so the -10 has barely any swings on it.
