Nice little walk down memory lane! Vinci's Kip leather is excellent and yes, very fun to break in!

Did she keep that Vinci (and the replacement) wrapped, or was it stored open with just a ball in the pocket? Not sure how to maintain the wide pocket of an IF glove if it stays in the bag the whole time.

If at all possible, my preferred way to store a glove is palm down, open to normal width, and resting on it's thumb, pinky, and heel.

For a player in season who obviously can't do this.....a ball in the pocket, wrapped up with a Mizuno glove wrap, and stuck inside of her helmet and then inside of her bat bag.

This one is just different Tonk.....NEVER ever had one as stiff as this one! And it has to be that Tan Kip! I've had one of my girls hand me a brand new Black Kip RV1961, I got it playable for practice (not games) in 15 minutes, no comparison!
