2022 Easton Ghost; Is This Cracked?

We picked up the 2022 Ghost last weekend direct from Easton. After one week of using it, we have this. Easton replaced a 2020 GA for something similar for us before. I'm no expert so I wasn't sure if this was "the paint" or cracked?

looks like paint. I think best way to know is to hit with it. If you can hit bombs with it then it is paint. If it is cracked it will sound off, vibrate badly, and ball won't jump off the bat.

Looks like paint. One of DD’s teammates cracked her GA, sent it back, and her first swing, the replacement cracked (look between the E and A).

Are they sending a brand new bat or a refurbished bat? I’ve sent mine in and waiting on a new one. Ours got a wobble, I rolled back the rubber at the pivot point between the handle and barrel. It was basically shattered

It looked new - but I wasn’t there when she got the GA out, so it’s only a guess.

All this time and I never realized "Ghost" actually referred to the empty space while people were waiting on replacements and not to the bat itself.

You might be surprised how much pop is still in the Ghost Advanced, even when it's badly wounded. My DD was still hitting solid 200'+ shots in BP with the bat in the condition of the top 2 pics.

That looks like the top layers of composite are starting to crack a little. The "shark tooth" pattern is telling. However, this does not mean the bat is anywhere near suddenly and catastrophically exploding.
