2018 and 2012 Louisville Slugger LXT

My daughter's hitting coach recommended she move up from a 32 to 33. DD has been team Xeno but wants to try the LXT.

I just got a 2018 LXT, new in wrapper for a good price. I'm about to buy her a used a 2012 LXT for cage work/ back up .

I've heard good things about the '18 LXT, is this correct? And can anyone confirm the used '12 would be a decent training bat?

Never had a 2012 LXT, the 2012 Xeno was a game changer! The 2015 LXT was my probably favorite, wish I would have bought a pickup truck bed full of them when the 16’s came out!

Might just be a coincidence (they look the same) but Anna hit a TON more homers with her 2017 LXT over the 2018, when she broke her second 2017, I swear I thought she was going to cry! That particular 2017 was a hammer!

Gah!! They had 2017's also. Brianna is 12. She preferred the 18 soley on looks. Yes, still blue and white but a different blue.

If you are ever in the market for a new in wrapper '17 I know where you can get them for about $270.

You’re right, been awhile, they did look slightly different, close but different.

The 16’s…..both the LXT and the Xeno were both hot bats that didn’t get the love they deserved!


Edit…..I still have a 33” 2016 Xeno that I love hitting infield / outfield practice with, very hot!
