It is all of those but the easier break-in in my experience, but.....it's much tighter grained and that's where the added stiffness comes in! I've never owned Rawlings or Wilson Kip so YMMV?
My daughter's Pro Preferred is kip. It was not easier to break in, but it is softer than steer hide. My older daughter had a Nokona Kip catcher's mitt that was impossible to break in.

On that Vinci I just posted, the outer shell surface of the leather was brick hard, it honestly felt like my older 2013 code 55 Horween Pro12TC. And even more it had slight little imperfections and color differences in the leather, just like a Horween hide.

That’s a beauty! Is the G in the model for the gold stitching?

That will last well beyond two seasons, but might take both of them to break in!
