From August to mid November Haley plays field hockey, so we get a break from each other and only a handful of tune up lessons. Over the summer she did the recruiting stuff with her TB team. Last week she was given and accepted an offer to play at Boston University. One more HS season and we hand her off to her college coaches. I’ve been truly blessed to be one of her many coaches along the way.

As I have talked about before on DFP, I know Haley well. Her and Maddie were teammates for over 2 years in 12U and 14U ball, and I became good friends with her parents. Haley is one of the hardest-working, most determined, and most coachable young athletes I've been around. I'm tremendously proud of her success, and earning this opportunity to play ball at the D1 level. She's awesome!

Yes, I made several promises to her , with the stipulation that she let me coach her and she gave her best effort, this is the fInal result and last promise. Now, I know I was part of a bigger group of coaches and her family that made this all happen.

Getting ready to start Haley’s senior year. When she was a freshman in 2019 I wasn’t sure I’d stick around until her senior year, now it’s here. She made a few adjustments to her swing and did well with travel ball.
the challenge I see is can she be a leader ? It’s one thing to lead with stats and accomplishments but to be looked upon to lead is different. I’ve had several posters tell me they followed her thread thank you very much.
