I am helping with my daughters first year 14u local league team, and not sure how to best develop them. They can hit lower level pitchers and are competitive locally, but struggle against quality pitching. They need better mechanics and better hitting and pitching strategies that is above my knowledge level in order to move forward. The question I have is what is best to develop them. Do we ditch the leage and play tournaments only? Is two league game nights per week better than one? Do we play one game a week and more batting practice/lessons?
