    ODD wears prescription sport sunglasses. She's 10 and honestly not mature enough for contacts now. Maybe in a few years.

    She's 10. She does play catcher, but both times were her practicing catching pop flies in outfield.

    2nd time now, DD has jammed her thumb catching the ball. Today, she was using a smaller glove when it happened. I don't remember what glove she had on the 1st time. Could it be the glove or is she catching it wrong or is this just common?

    HEY CATCHERS whats happening, general update discussion.

    ODD is hoping to catch at least a few innings this season. When she's not catching at practice, she's in right field and "it's so boring". She definitely needs an attitude adjustment. (With everything, not just softball)

    I love how the batter just drops her hands like "really?". I have a video of ODD'S home run and the other team's catcher does the same thing.

    Tryout Question

    DD's travel ball team is having tryouts next month. Is it typical for current players to try out again as well or do they usually just hold tryouts to fill empty spots on the team? I'm new to all this!
