Thank you for the answer and clarification. We had and incident this weekend where an umpire said you couldn't use 2 courtesy runners in the same inning, but after a heated argument with another coach, the umpire said he meant you couldn't have the same player run for both catcher and pitcher.
I know this thread is old, but I have a question that I think somebody here can answer.
Can you use multiple courtesy runner's in the same half inning of a team's at bat? Catcher and pitcher both reach base for the team batting.
I know this is an older thread, but I do have a question on the step back rule that a parent brought up to me.
There is a pitching drill called the "Step Back Drill" for pitchers. It starts with the pitchers non-pivot foot forward of the pitcher's plate. The pitcher then "steps back" behind the...
Seen this little gadget on Facebook and started to check it out. I wanted to see if anybody had actual experience or what tips/tricks you have that would work just as well if not better than what the Flat Bat mats are trying to teach.
First time I've ever seen this, if you go to the website...
As assistant coach and a parent, yes I do stick around for practices lol. I have been approached about coaching her jr. high team as well, but no final answer on that for now.
In my experience more moms stick around for our practices than the dads do. Usually the parents will ask after practice...
Rawlings R9 Series12.5 in Fastpitch Pitcher/Outfield Glove
This is the glove I bought for my DD who plays outfield and pitcher. She is 5'2 and plays 12U. Awesome glove, but seems a little big for her but she loves it and catches well with it. She does have small hands as well.
We are going to a FASA tourney this weekend in Livingston and I can already see some ring chaser teams in the tourney lol. I do see some FASA and USFA tourneys saying C and open teams compete in different brackets but if the bracket doesn't fill out enough they always merge them together...
We have 3 different girls on the team with the Jen Schro fundamental sets. I do believe we have one girl having that issue, but bc the chest protector is too big for her it pushes up into the neck piece as you stated above. The 3 sets we have are medium sets (come with large helmet) but this one...
I've witnessed that firsthand too, girls wanting to stay with their friends so they move up if majority of them are moving. We lost a few great 12U girls bc they wanted to move up to 14U with their friends a season early.
I ended up stumbling across an awesome site that gave me exactly what I wanted on our call sheets/wristband cards. Price is $30 a year or 85 for a lifetime. I know some people will say don't spend money on stuff like this, but for $30 bucks this was a steal.

Also from Louisiana here, DD is 12U, just started playing again a year ago. We are full time Jr. high ball and travel ball now. Biggest step for me was getting her to love the game, once she did that everything else came easy. I also help coach her 12U team, per her request and knowing the head...
I tried to research it on here and I have done some playing around on google sheets, but was hoping for more help.
Does anybody have exact size for the columns and rows to be a perfect fit in a youth sized wristband? (5x3)
I haven't seen an index card option on google sheets and don't know if...
We have girls on the team with the evoshield and the team defender glove, both work great and have saved my daughters thumb. Sucks she had to injure it first before I went get her one. Definitely a game changer, even when they do catch properly all the time.
Also just upgraded my daughter to the 2020 CF 31/21 from a lower end axe bat. She instantly swung it better and loved the weight of it. ball seemed to really fly off the bat even on "weak hits" Just need to get her some more cage time and get her really pumping out the hits now.
I'm waiting on my DD's CF to come in now. She swang a brand new 2020 LXT over the weekend (size she currently uses) and she said it felt heavy to her. She was hitting a prism before that and loved it. After looking around I felt the CF would be a better fit for her. Hopefully she loves it.
Almost ordered another bat today just incase DD didn't like her first one haha. She surprised me wanting the CF over the Xeno but she hit the CF and prism far better than she did the Xeno. Hope everybody got some good deals on bats.
We ordered a prism and CF last night. Order went right through. Glad I was able to take advantage of this. Was going to wait for christmas to get DD a new bat but this is even better.
