    I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this as well UNC. While I can't speak to how frequently it happens, I do know that it has happened to us three times now...where there's more dependence on DD than would be optimal in our opinion. I mean I get the "a true pitcher want's the ball" argument...

    Tell you what, she's very happy with her decision, though a bit sad about the position it places her old team: 1 pitcher. She has no friends on her new team. There's one or two she's bumped into competitively in the past but no friends so to speak - a whole new horizon for her with this team.

    Like these? Also, and this is not meant to sound crude, does your DD wear underwear underneath the compression shorts as well or no? That is, her normal underwear, compression shorts, and then Softball pants. Or just compression shorts and Softball Pants?

    Thought I would let you all know, we went with the Mizuni MVP. As a third position didn’t see the need to go crazy for a glove. Speed of break in was biggest goal.

    So is this a Softball Glove? She's got pretty small hands. We've learned going Baseball doesn't work - does weird things to the pocket...her fingers sort of close the glove in the middle is the best way I can describe it.

    The Mizuno is certainly high on the list as we know they break in pretty quick. Plus I know, as much as I personally despise it, she likes the velcro on the wrist band.
