It's the only batting gloves that last a whole season for her. We're currently on our second set. I guess we've gone from wearing out gloves every 90 days to about a year.
I also suggest the latest version of the Force3. My DD started using one after getting a pretty severe concussion from a shot she took wearing an Easton JS one last summer. The quality and padding imo is a step above the Easton for sure. She also hasn’t complained of it being heavier. Though at...
Avoid the No Errors bags. We’ve had nothing but issues with the zippers on them. They replaced the bag and same crap happened within a couple of months with that one.
My DD is a smaller girl. Does it affect her times...probably but not as much than if she were a bigger girl I feel like. But I've told her countless times if shes on the knee to just throw from there. But like most of our daughters here she's hardheaded as a mule. She does get up pretty quick...
I'd say majority of the time she gets up to throw. She has one pitcher that she almost exclusively catches knee down (drop ball pitcher). Remainder she drops on the knee when released. Alot of it seems to do with her comfort with the pitcher too.
I appreciate your reply. We ordered her mitt with the leather pad and stiff option. I'd read beforehand that with that option they use more substantial leather etc. It was STIFF, and took forever to break in. But here we are several years later, and it still have its shape and looks great. If a...
I’m just curious and this might be helpful for some folks. Why would you go for the Pro Preferred over the HoH? From what I understand, correct me if I’m wrong, PP uses kip leather?
Yes sir! Mitt still going strong. Still in great shape. Catch the pocket sounds like a gun shot. Girl at a camp this weekend asked her after catching a very hard throwing pitcher, “Doesn’t your hand hurt?”. She replied “Nope, I didn’t feel a thing”. Easily been the best equipment investment...
We've never been to one of his camps but I've followed him for several years. He seems legit to me. I've always agreed with a lot of the things he's teaching.
For us yes absolutely the performance outweigh the breakage issues. We don't think twice about buying them. Easton's customer service is the best in the business and will take care of you. For the best service hit up Coresoftball here on the boards!
Seeing videos over the years of his daughter. She looks like she's a damn good ball player to me. Seasoned as in he's been around for years and answers people's questions on a regular basis. Helps people on here that are new or have been around for years. His daughter's journey is his business...
People like you are the reason that the seasoned, well respected people like @Eric F and others might stop posting and contributing to the good of this forum. If you have nothing good to say just shut your pie hole and go away.
My daughter got a custom 33” Rawlings Heart of the Hide mitt when she was first year 14u. Now she’s playing 18u. It’s been an outstanding glove. Size wise 33” has been fine. It was an absolute tank to break in! If you care to do a search there’s a thread here on the mitt.
