Up for sale is a 32/22 Easton ghost advanced
Look at the pics, has a couple of early cracks, none appear to be through the composite, bat was used as a game bat and was never a question when inspected; DD2 switched to the Mantra+ and this has sat in her bag....could use a new grip
$165 plus...
and i know with 100% certainty that my daughters, in HS, travel, & college......have played against transgender athletes; several times unknowingly (and 100% of the time without caring)
you've never worked with a 12 year old struggling with gender issues, have you?
i get it.....we struggle with what we don't understand; took me a long time to even begin to wrap my head around it....i'm thankful it is something that has not hit too close to home
but no one is "deciding" to go...
one could argue that for every individual case like Lia Thomas, where there appears to be some competitive advantage there are hundreds, if not more, MS & HS & even NCAA athletes who see zero/zip/zilch advantage, and are enjoying the benefits of interscholastic athletic competition by being a...
A "solution" in search of a problem
I have two NCAA athletes.....neither one sees this as an issue, neither one feels they need "protection", both are deeply offended by this move.....
the worst bat i've personally seen for breakage is the meta, and it's not even close......winter practice this year alone we saw 2, both less than a month old, completely blow up......one girl was on her 4th or 5th in way less than a year, and they finally gave up.....for perspective, in all the...
TBH we have an original GA, first run, got it in January of whatever year it came out from Core....it has been used for everything in all sorts of weather......DD1 used it for 2 years straight, DD2 used it on and off, and a girl on our team used it all last year
TBH it is finally cracked...
i was correct.......we were back on the field in a limited basis monday (it hit 60) and full go yesterday.......we are running the first scrimmage today, it's 44 with a chance of a spit of rain......lovely softball weather
looks like tomorrow will get washed, and our playdate saturday looks...
local rules are just fine if they help to teach the game as players are developing.......but if you have those rules in place, and are playing a modified version, which is great.....THEN WHY IN THE HELL DO YOU AS A COACH CARE SO MUCH AS TO WHO WINS???
in the situation outlined above, timed is...
one of the things i taught my pitchers, and while it is a minor thing, sort of, it helps......it's not a mechanical thing, per se, but it sets them up for consistency at least
develop a routine........if they already have one, make sure it is a conscience routine
whatever their routine is, do...
and anecdotally off the handful that have swung it, including half DD1s teammates, the 2024 ADV is an upgrade over the previous version
Easton still can't get paint to stick, though........the red is not real durable lol
