    I agree with JAD my DD said it was easier to throw the 11" after practicing with the 12" b4 her transistion to 12" altogether.

    my DD throws real close to 60 and her cu is around 38-42mph and it works really well in most cases

    Strike/Ball Ratiol

    I agree that first strike % is huge for setting the tone of a game. especially getting the opposing team to swing not saying it has to be a meat ball by any means.

    Walk-throughs and long tosses better than pitching?

    we have always did long toss walk ups as part of my DDs warm up routine, I think it helps with what Rick has said and also with strength for the pitcher when they can throw a 150' strike with some power 43' looks like their cheating :)
