I think that hitting a softball with it might fracture it, with the softball being a lot heavier than a baseball. I have some wood bats that I have cut square. I use them to illustrate launch angle.
Hit tennis balls. I did the same with a wood bat and wrapped with athletic tape along time ago. My son swings to flat sometimes. He's 14 and can hit but. Wondering if the weight on the other end is similar to Camwood bat.
