It’s all relative at this point.

Like I said, call it the holy grail, sell it, Promote it. I don’t care. Just don’t call it what the pros do. It’s not.

Please show some other examples.

This thread is about how Mike instructs the HLP with the students he works with. Whether or not you think it doesn't match what the pros do or not is irrelevant to this thread.

It’s relevant when it’s misrepresented as what the pros do. Not saying Mike is doing that.

If you want folks to not reply, debate and discuss. And this thread is a kumbaya. Just say so.

Stop whining Eric it’s very telling.

That's a really nice example of the barrel tipping back (running start) into the TTB launch around a HPP/forearm axle. The rear leg turning forward against the rearward movement of the barrel is an important segment of the sequence.
Interesting to see what that running start looks like on a lower pitch, anybody have a clip of him on a lower pitch?

I'm trying to give moms and dads , that want it, a fly on the wall view of my last 5-6 years of trying to learn and teach several kids HLP. I have 1000s of video footage of swings at different level of awareness and development. I've made lots of mistakes and gone down several rabbit holes in learning and sharing this. If I could help a few avoid the stumbling blocks I fell over , then maybe it was worth it.

I like comments it shows an interest but try and stay on the trial is all I ask. Go to TDS sand box, display your superiority and conquer the hitting galaxy this one is for people that want to help discover or teach someone their best swing with a little extra power.

Pattar you did warn me TY

To recap
1. TTB perpendicular to the forearm
2. getting to a consistent launch position
3. using the back muscles to assist the forearm and barrel

The adjustability of TTB perpendicular to the forearm

A lot of learning about one’s swing or changes to your swing is about feel. I know can be impatient with my kids and don’t give them enough time to feel the changes take place.

We practice with a conscious mind.
The swing is best performed with the unconscious mind.
