I don't know who this is but, she had bat drag. She recovered somewhat. She lost early bat speed because of the bat drag.

The initial bat drag resulted in her hitting the ball further away than necessary - notice the biceps slightly extended from the torso, and ball contact well in front of the normal ball of front foot..

Without the initial bat drag, this swing would be greatly improved. Bat speed would be greater, and she would be able to make contact with authority deeper in the zone, thereby giving her HR power to RF,CF.
This is correct. Doesn't mean her swing sucks but that it could improve. Sometimes if the coach is not throwing hard enough the hitter drags because she has to much time and instinctively slows (drags) bat to make contact.
I would try a little more hip flexion (chest out over the plate but keeping weight towards heel) at set up and tell her to try to keep her shoulders downhill a little longer. This would create more space and less drag. Also short bat, top hand only tee work focusing on not letting the elbow get in front of the hands.

W=W, do us all a favor and take another video of your daughter hitting, this time with the camera slightly behind her rather than slightly in front of her. We'll see then if the bat drag crowd still thinks it looks like bat drag.

This was right before DD fractured her foot. I'm posting it because the camera angle is pretty much straight from the side. Bat drag on the 1st swing vs the 2nd swing?

If she hits quality pitching well, don't change a thing. I know she is far away from the ball and getting max speed but 83 is 83 and that's fast.
Yes RH, that's exactly what I'm getting at. And if she's not hitting quality pitching, elbow and barrel positioning might not be the issue. I'd be very cautious changing this young ladies swing.

I see a lot of young hitters who "pre tip" have bat drag evident in their swing. IMO, JD demos the appropriate position after planing in this GIF. JMHO
