If the team is being pokey getting taking the field and when the coach says,”Girls, we have a ball game to play, hustle out.” and the center fielder replies with “but I need to finish my cookie” Is it acceptable to take the half eaten cookie out of her hands, gobble it like cookie monster and yell in cookie monsters voice, “You go play outfield”
10u local league, asking for a friend.

Coach should have said " C is for cookie and that cookie is for me" in his best cookie monster voice. I would have paid money to see this happen.

Germs though.

Germs though.

I am guessing that was sarcasm.

I witnessed a team of softball players playing a game this weekend. One girl would take a piece of popcorn and put it in her lips. Then she would blow that piece of popcorn out of her mouth up into the air and the other girls would try to catch the piece of popcorn in their mouth. I thought it was hilarious. Last thing on anyone's mind was germs.

I was being sarcastic, but what you just described is legitimately disgusting.

I just have to point out that diabetes is not caused by eating cookies or sweets in general. Many studies suggest diabetes is linked to a virus.
You are correct. Type 1 diabetes (juvenile) is caused by immune response to a virus. Here are pics of my dd the year she was diagnosed. Anyone who can show me where the cookies caused the disease is welcome to try.

Diet can control diabetes. My father-in-law died because of diabetes and not controlling his diet. Loved sweets and soda. Never touched alcohol in his life as far as I know. Many years the doctors told him to control his diet. When he finally did it was too late. Miss him terribly.
