I think it depends on your relationship and trust in the coach. We have left 2 without notice because we didn't think the coach would be fair to DD if he knew. Left one team where we gave them a month notice because we loved those guys and knew they would want only the best for DD and felt it...
I may be old school, but I carry a Buck 503 all day everyday. It is just a simple lock blade small knife that fits easy in any pocket. I've been carrying it for almost 5 years now so it looks a little rough, but it's clean from regular trips thru the washer.
The Spiderco's are really neat...
In another thread about pitching speed, an opinion was stated that if a pitcher is fast at a young age, they will not reach their full potential because they never had to work hard to get better and that the pitcher who has to work harder to gain velocity will eventually pass her and become...
Sorry I missed that in the earlier reply. Sometimes I skim.
From the section you quoted from Gator5, "My general belief, which is not founded on anything more than conjecture: on average..."
Maybe I will start a poll, but I have not had the feeling that this is the prevailing thought here...
IMO, that is not what was said or meant. At least that is not how I read it. The way I have read those statements in the past is that everyone develops at different times. Because of that, there will be a point where things will begin to level out. I have never seen it stated as an absolute...
DD plays 3rd. I showed her the Auburn video and she has since seen other college and TB player doing it. She has started to play with it on her own. I have tried to let her figure out as much as possible on her own because the fastest way to get her to stop is dad acknowledging it and god...
My DD pitches out of the glove. At least she does today until she decides she's bored and tries something different. 😁
Have gone from HUGE backswing to no back swing at all. Consistency is so much better by reducing the backswing. No difference in the pitch once she was used to it. I am a...
I think from a business perspective, MLB has the money to make something work, but you can't go at the same time as MLB and you have to give them a way to utilize what they have to at least break even. Then they have to opportunity to leverage the FP following to come see MLB games. (ie. meet...
What if MLB teams in the south and/or with enclosed stadiums, started FP league that ran from Nov-Feb? Then their gigantic stadiums would not sit empty and they could produce some revenue from ticket sales and concessions? We all know they won't pay huge salaries, at least at the beginning, so...
LOL, Houston is 30 to 45 minutes to go to the corner store.
We drove 45 minutes Saturday morning for a tryout for a team that will practice almost an hour away.
