Right handed pitcher hitting from the left side?
My daughter is a right handed pitcher and she bats left handed. She has a pad to wear on right arm while batting,but never wears it. So far so good. She is a fast runner and has had success as a slapper. She is right handed in every aspect of her life EXCEPT batting.- teammom1

Deodorant...
Have you tried those medicated powders? Not as a cure, but as an in between? Gold Bond makes one and Shower to Shower is a less antiseptic smelling one. Not sure it will help it all. Hope you get some answers! My bet is she grows out of it. 6th/7th graders are a stinky bunch by nature!- teammom1

Glove recommendation for 12U
Scheels in Springfield, IL had a nice selection during the season. I don't know what they have right now. We bought a Mizuno and had it steamed in the glove steamer. Much has already been said. I think it comes down to the quality of the rec league program. A good rec program with real rules and real expectations can be as good as TB. The rec program in our town is terrible. Doesn't compare to the boys' program where development is important. Watered down...- teammom1

Not enough players
Thanks all. We *might* be at 10. A strong 10? don't know. But still 10. We live about 20 mins from Moline, IL home of 2012 ASA 12u Nationals. We have a lot of teams in the area. Not enough players
Our 2nd year 10U team had a great season. We're moving up, 3 players staying at 10U, 1 player left. Now we're short. Despite having ads for try outs, nothings. Feelers are out, nothing. Any suggestions. We're sitting at 8 players.- teammom1

Guess you find another team or leave her where she is on the "B" team. We're sort of in the same boat with our youngest. She's an 03 going into her 2nd season of TB. Her team had a tough time last year as a 1st year 10U team not a single tournament win. Hopefully this year will be better...- teammom1
