Thank you! I had no idea about that. I'd like to think that Bama wouldn't saddle themselves with meaningless "qualifications" and just hire the best candidate for the job. I have no idea if that's the case.- pumpkinbear

Appreciate the explanation. I read that Fouts' dad is a pitching coach and I remember her saying he still gives her feedback. Real interest or being played to fill a camp?
I love your fictional school. I humbly suggest replacing Stanford with the Bates Bobcats. Bates boasts high academics. Bates offers a much greater softball contrast to OU than Stanford. Most importantly, your fictional camp visit can now take place at Norman Bates.- pumpkinbear

Internal rotation early? Spin trouble
Doug Gillis spends a fair portion of this video explaining why he prefers a slight step across the center line and how to work toward that end. Are you saying the pitcher's step over (in the OP) is so excessive that it should be corrected?- pumpkinbear

Can't promise the same results for you but this worked like a miracle for my daughters: The fast way to get the timing right is for your daughter to practice pitching the ball into her own glove. Uniforms over multi day tourney
Send her into the shower with her uniform, let her use soap/shampoo to wash and rinse the uniform. Wring/drip dry the wet uniform pieces the best you can immediately after shower. Paige Lowary - Talk About Velocity!
TLDR - based on frame counts, I think 75 on that pitch is plausible. When practical, I gun my dds pitches from behind the umpire with a pocket radar. She frequently hits 59, occasionally 60 and in one game she hit 61 three times. I've learned to expect ~14 frames from hand to bat at 30 fps...- pumpkinbear
